LISTEN TO ROCKY, THESE ARE JUST SURVEY RESULTS, AND THE LIST IS A JOKE!

Now then, this is the "research" project I've been working on, and I have to say, the results were pretty surprising! Some I could understand, but others, wow

And yes, I really did calculate votes to put them in correct order, the only times I tweaked it was to settle tiebreakers (the top 3 were tied, so I based those on what I've seen outside my survey). Thanks for your help if you voted!

Anyway, as always when I do these lists, here's a description of each:

10) I chose "ponification" in particular for this one, since a common complaint for "Friendship is Magic" is that people draw characters from other fandoms in the show's style. I don't get it, since there's plenty of other art if you don't want to see characters portrayed as any other animal other than their original species, so there's really no complaint here (also, nobody in the survey voted for this one )

9) Oh, yes, because anthropomorphic animals are SOOOO depraved, I can't believe they tell Aesop fables to children! Lol, but seriously, THEY'RE JUST ANIMALS. WHO ACT LIKE PEOPLE.

8) I'm such a good, photographer, no? But really, if you're going to show your face to the world, you should really be looking professional (exactly why I blocked my face)

7) Markings that wouldn't normally be found in nature, sure. A few unnatural colors, why not? BUT THIS? How do those people even have the energy to create these monstrosities, I got sick of it while drawing!

6) This is a precarious genre to dislike, since nobody in their right mind likes to see people objectified, but you can just as easily end up called a homophobe if you say you don't like it. I'm not a big fan of the whole seme/uke/whathaveyou thing, but I'm no hater of the real homosexuals

5) Once or twice is fine, but after a while it gets a bit overly-melodramatic. Also, what's with the bleeding in some of them?

4) This is one of those kinds of art/plot elements that can be handled well, or just end up being straight-up icky. There's the ones that show a couple or family lovingly waiting for the new arrival/s, while others seem to exist for the sole purpose of creating disgusting inflation art, or an excuse for some sex and drama. Then, there's mpreg, which is a whole other bucket of fish. It attracts a lot of the yaoi fans, who of course have to turn it into... yech... and also is often ambiguous about the little one's origins. At least Eragon here did it in wedlock In short, DON'T TREAT IT AS A FETISH, it's almost like being a pedophile if you think about it hard enough

2) Cute in the cartoons, but can get scary really fast. I used to draw this as a kid, but I did always wonder how their spines managed to handle the stress of increasing the body mass THAT much Also vore, I don't get vore. What's so great about vore?

1) OH BLOB YES. Forays of searching for characters in the cesspits of the internet have brought up some... passionate... pictures of, to name a few: My Little Pony, Hetalia, Fullmetal Alchemist, The Lion King, WATERSHIP DOWN, AND THE FREAKING LAND BEFORE FREAKING TIME. IS NOTHING SACRED ANYMORE? You can't even look up Saphira from the Inheritance Cycle without getting a good look at her *Rocky's conscience ordered her to stop here*

So, yeah, though your mileage may very, these are the "worst" kinds of art deviantART have to offer. Of course, there's nothing technically wrong with liking any of it, it's all harmless pictures.
